Courts, pool decks, and driveways in Colusa

Colusa, Williams, and Arbuckle are an hour down the valley from Chico, farm towns with acreage, barns, and the kind of older concrete around the house and the pool that has baked through forty summers. We build courts on the flat ground, pour Rubber Stone over the pool decks and barn aisles, and put Vuba Stone on the driveways that have never drained right.

Summer highs here run past 100 degrees for weeks at a stretch, which is the single best argument for a Rubber Stone pool deck: it stays walkable barefoot when bare concrete does not.
